ABA creates faculty opportunities for women lawyers and lawyers of color
Women and minority members of the ABA who are interested in serving as faculty members for the association's continuing legal education programs and seminars are being asked to step forward.
Affirming its commitment to promoting equal participation of minorities and women in the legal profession, the ABA has posted a questionnaire on its Web site where women and minority lawyers may register their speaker profiles. The benefits of serving as a CLE speaker are many and include visibility as a national speaker, involvement in discussing today's important legal issues, and opportunities to network and interact with other expert faculty.
The Web site also allows members who have previously registered to update their profile, and provides answers to frequently asked questions about the ABA's CLE programs.
